Jumu Chiang, an award-winning designer, has unveiled a stunning residential design project titled "Elegance of Cat." Inspired by the grace and elegance of feline companions, this project is a testament to the designer's creativity and attention to detail. The design, completed in March 2018 in Taichung City, Taiwan, offers a unique blend of functionality, aesthetics, and comfort, tailored to the specific needs and preferences of the clients.
The "Elegance of Cat" project stands out for its thoughtful integration of form and function, creating graceful compartments that cater to various activities such as reading, music and art appreciation, and tea making. The design reflects the clients' love for their pet cats, capturing the cozy and balanced nature of these elegant animals.
Featuring a combination of materials such as dawn white stone, titanium-plated metal, insulating glass, sandblasted glass, and natural walnut veneer, the design exudes sophistication and warmth. The use of Inkiostro Bianco mural adds a touch of artistic flair, elevating the overall ambiance of the space.
The project covers an interior area of approximately 145 square meters, encompassing a living room, an open kitchen and dining area, a study room, two bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in the seamless integration of different elements, creating a cohesive and inviting living environment.
Chiang's "Elegance of Cat" design has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020.
