YesDesign Studio Unveils Innovative Vegetarian Restaurant Concept in Wuhan
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
YesDesign Studio, led by designer Ling Chen, has unveiled a groundbreaking project in the heart of Wuhan. Mays, a creative vegetarian restaurant, challenges traditional design techniques by integrating the concept of "inversed time and space" into its interior. Inspired by the healthy lifestyle of vegetarianism and the folk customs of Guangdong, the restaurant aims to create a unique and comfortable dining space that breaks the rules.
The interior space is characterized by the innovative use of materials such as terrazzo, stainless steel, and copper chains, which are seamlessly integrated to evoke the concept of "inversed time and space." The 152 sqm area features a gray black terrazzo facade with blue crystal and pearl particles, creating a visually stunning environment that redefines the dining experience.
Chen Ling, the visionary behind YesDesign Studio, meticulously curated every aspect of Mays, from the custom terrazzo to the Nordic-inspired decorations. The project, which commenced in November 2018 and concluded in February 2019, represents a fusion of global food cultures and design innovation, setting a new standard for vegetarian restaurants.
