Designer Zhou JingWei's Innovative Approach to Chinese Rice Noodle Restaurant Design

Zhou JingWei's latest project, a Chinese rice noodle restaurant in Kunming, Yunnan Province, presents a unique and innovative design inspired by the shape of rice noodles. The 400-square-meter space showcases the use of wood veneer and imitation stone panel to elevate the restaurant's ambiance, while texture coating on the walls enhances the overall spatial texture.

The design, which won the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, is a testament to Zhou JingWei's commitment to environmental protection and simple space design. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant's construction was completed in just one month, with careful consideration given to the workers' safety and well-being.

Located in Kunming, China, the restaurant is set to open for business in July 2020, offering a unique dining experience that seamlessly integrates the cultural and culinary aspects of the region.
