Introducing "Encounter" by Hanliang Huang, an innovative office space design project that redefines the concept of experiential work environments. This project, awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, embodies a perfect blend of art, functionality, and human experience. The project was realized in Fujian Province, China, from February 2020 to July 2020.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hanliang Huang's "Encounter" is a revolutionary office space design that challenges traditional norms. The project aims to create a sense of ceremony and design while prioritizing human experience. The unique feature of "Encounter" lies in its ability to seamlessly integrate time, art, and space, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior. The sinking reception area creates a visually dislocating effect, providing a tranquil oasis in the midst of a bustling environment.
Utilizing Swedish Becco paint, micro cement, steel plate, transparent acrylic, and clear glass, "Encounter" embodies a quiet, pure, and artistic ambiance. The design team, led by Hanliang Huang and Wenbai Xie, overcame significant challenges, particularly in the creation of the art gallery, where the entire space is supported by a single column, with the rest being predominantly glass.
Hanliang Huang's vision for "Encounter" is to provide a space that not only serves the functional needs of an office but also enhances the quality of life for its users. The project's success is evident in its recognition with the Silver A' Design Award, a prestigious accolade that celebrates outstanding expertise and innovation in design.
