FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CHIEH CHIH YU's Light Impression project, a residential space design, reimagines living spaces with a focus on nature-inspired elements. The 182 square feet space beautifully integrates the metaphorical energy of nature, creating a unique experience of life exploration. The design, completed in March 2019 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, reflects the perfect fusion of rational and emotional creativity.
The space, designed for a house owner couple and their future family, features semi-open partitions to accommodate the active movement of children. By utilizing natural materials such as solid wood, iron, marble, and glass, the design achieves a simple and natural touch, offering a taste of nature that differs from standard wall planning.
One of the design's unique features is the use of sliding doors and grille screen designs, which not only add aesthetic value but also enhance functionality. The space's open vector design creates a perfect conversion, complementing the natural elements and bringing out a humanity concept distinct from contemporary styles.
