A Nature-Inspired House Design by MingChun,Hsu in Taipei, Completed in 2018
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MingChun,Hsu presents "Strolling," a nature-inspired house design in Taipei, completed in 2018. The project, inspired by nature, features a garden and public space on the ground floor and a personal bedroom on the first floor. The design aims to explore the relationship between people, space, and nature, offering a unique experience that harmonizes with the natural surroundings.
The "Strolling" design stands out for its innovative approach to space and environment, emphasizing the concept of "Find In Between." The house, located in a suburban area with a natural and green courtyard, integrates diverse materials to communicate with nature effectively. Through the use of scale, form, material, and shadow, the design creates an atmosphere that allows people to experience the tranquility and coziness of the space.
Utilizing advanced technology, the design achieves a seamless blend of public and private spaces. The use of different materials, such as marble and a suspension system for the stairs, highlights the contrast between the ground floor's public area and the first floor's privacy. The project's technical specifications include 115 square meters for the ground floor, 115 square meters for the first floor, and a 115 square meter garden.
MingChun,Hsu's "Strolling" design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its outstanding creativity and ingenious approach to interior space, retail, and exhibition design. The project successfully integrates art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
