Yan Yik Lun's Evergrowing Bank Design

Yan Yik Lun, in collaboration with IMO design, has unveiled "The Evergrowing," a modern bank design in Hong Kong. Inspired by the Chinese bamboo tree, the five-storey high building features a sleek facade with aluminum alloy piling, symbolizing the bank's spirit of perseverance and vigorous growth.

Bringing together sleek design and slender lines, the facade accentuates the brand's green color, defining its identity with simplicity and power.

The project, which commenced in March 2018 and concluded in January 2019, faced creative and technical challenges in balancing brand elements, three-dimensional visuals, and building regulations. The design team overcame these challenges by conducting on-site reviews and partial mockups to achieve the perfect result.

Yan Yik Lun, a renowned designer from Hong Kong, has a track record of successful projects, including the renovation of Hang Seng Bank Branch and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs)’ new image design. The Evergrowing bank design has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to quality of life improvements.
