T.B.C. Studio's Tommy Hui Transforms Hong Kong Flat into a Bird-Watching Haven
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
T.B.C. Studio's latest project, The Bird Hide, is a residential interior design masterpiece by Tommy Hui, inspired by the serene green landscapes of Hong Kong. The design features warm wood tones and a specially crafted row of cabinets by the window, creating a tranquil space for the residents to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.
Hui's innovative approach widened the living room's view by replacing the partition wall with a glass wall, allowing light to flow seamlessly and enhancing the open, refreshing ambiance. The use of wood veneer, wood-grain tiles, and natural elements further accentuates the connection to the outdoors.
Spanning 577 square feet, The Bird Hide seamlessly blends Japanese aesthetics with a touch of nature, offering a unique living experience. The project took 4-5 months to complete and was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for its exceptional creativity and resourcefulness.
