FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SeekIn Office: Biotech-inspired Workspace

SeekIn Office, designed by Ed Lau, draws inspiration from biotechnology and cellular structures to create an innovative and sustainable workspace in Shenzhen, China. The office features a spacious layout with curvy lines and irregular shapes, resembling cells, to foster creativity and vitality.

The office's design focuses on clarity and simplicity, utilizing a predominantly white and blue color scheme. It incorporates sustainable elements such as pot plants, self-leveling cement flooring, and a terrace garden with greenery and a fountain, providing employees with a relaxing environment.

The project covers an area of approximately 700sqm and was realized using self-leveling cement, PVC, wooden partitions, and LED light tubes covered with vinyl to create special effects.

Ed Lau, along with Eric Yu and Evans Ko, overcame initial client hesitancy to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing office space. The terrace garden provides a tranquil retreat for employees, enhancing their overall work experience.

Ed Lau's SeekIn Office project was recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, highlighting its exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and commitment to sustainability.
