Qing Kou Yun Shang Hotel: A Unique Eco-Friendly Resort

Zao Li, the designer behind the Qing Kou Yun Shang Hotel, has created a five-star high-end resort hotel located in the breathtaking Hani Terraced Fields, a world cultural heritage site in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province. The hotel offers a stunning view of the entire Kazi terraced fields and is a part of the OCT Group's high-end resort hotel brand. The design concept focuses on nature, environmental protection, humanistic care, and intelligence, utilizing local materials and elements to create a leisure resort hotel with oriental beauty.

The project, which began in 2020, is a result of extensive research and creative ingenuity. The design incorporates local characteristic elements such as thatch, bamboo forest, log, sea of clouds, and bonfire to reflect the local culture and create a unique experience for guests. The hotel meets the architectural and design requirements of a five-star standard, prioritizing human environment protection and recycling in its structure, architecture, interior, and soft decoration.

The hotel's intelligent application, combined with lighting and intelligent control, enables energy conservation, environmental protection, and the collection of big data in the background. This not only enhances the guest experience but also allows for effective analysis and customization of the customer's environment to provide quality services.

Recognized for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design, the Qing Kou Yun Shang Hotel was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the hotel's contribution to quality of life improvements and its incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
