The design, inspired by the concept of pop-up shops, serves as the second marketing center for the brand, complementing the traditional department store counters. It offers a holistic strategy of brand marketing, establishing social interaction with people in urban public places. The pop-up store is set to be located in the most visited areas beside popular department stores in Taiwan, with a history of hosting 60 successful exhibition events within a year.
The unique properties of this design lie in its transformative theme, meant to establish social interaction with urban residents. The pop-up store aims to visually attract people, display the brand's features with showcases, and convey the purpose of the event through videos. It integrates world trends in fashion and utilizes sound and light effects to enhance the publicity of the products and leave a lasting impression on the public.
The pop-up store's realization technology involves the use of eco-friendly and reusable materials, including wooden materials and LED lights. The containers have been repeatedly used for display for approximately 60 times, emphasizing sustainability and environmental consciousness.
The design's interaction is characterized by its quick assembly, with building volumes that can be assembled in 12 hours. The pop-up store offers flexibility in construction, with the ability to be built for testing before arriving at the exhibition sites. The design also incorporates adjustable features such as showcases, doors, and furniture to maximize functionality and adaptability.
Hsuan-Hui Lee's innovative pop-up store has overcome various creative, technical, and research challenges to deliver a transformative retail experience. The design has evolved from the gradual advances of the glass house, addressing issues such as assembly, display capabilities, and adaptability to different demands. The upgrades of canopy, product showcases, and LED light boxes have made the design suitable for all trade fairs in Taiwan, integrating into the public with an interactive experience to enhance the brand's value.
