Yi-Lun Hsu's "Sunrising" Interior Design

Yi-Lun Hsu's "Sunrising" is a stunning interior design project that reimagines living spaces with a fusion of Japanese aesthetics and modern lifestyle. The project, completed in November 2018 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, transformed a 132 square meter residence into a serene and elegant living environment.

The space features warm wooden textures, bright colors, and a quietly vibrant atmosphere, complemented by various indoor plants. The design seamlessly integrates Japanese patterns with modern living, offering a unique and structured residential experience that embodies the essence of "Sunrising."

The interior design project prioritizes space functionality, creating a fresh Japanese-style ambiance. The public area boasts a spacious living room with a TV wall made of exposed concrete, exuding a calm atmosphere. Large potted plants and tea trays adorn the couch, while a reserved space behind the sofa accommodates a piano and bookcase for leisurely activities.

At the heart of the design is a washitsu, a traditional Japanese-style room with tatami flooring, elevated a few steps to add an elegant touch to the private area. The washitsu is adorned with wooden grilles, expanding the indoor space and creating a tranquil atmosphere. The dining space, adorned with a striking "sunrising" wall made of red cast stone, serves as a visual focal point for the owners' meals.

Yi-Lun Hsu's "Sunrising" interior design project received the Iron A' Design Award in 2019, recognizing its innovative and practical approach that meets professional and industrial requirements. The project's seamless integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics contributes to a better world, setting a new standard for interior design.
