SURFACE R Unveils a Timeless and Proportioned Residential House Inspired by Japanese Kokoro Living Concept
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SURFACE R, a Malaysia-based interior design firm, has unveiled its latest project, the Bodacious Auroradwelling, a modern resort home that seamlessly integrates the Japanese Kokoro Living Concept. The 3,642 square feet two-storey corner terrace is a testament to the firm's commitment to timeless design and proportion. The project, which commenced in April 2019 and concluded in June 2020, is located in Malaysia and has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design in 2021.
The Bodacious Auroradwelling is a unique blend of outdoor beauty and indoor comfort, featuring a well-thought-out interior that adheres to the chi flow, creating a refreshing and smooth movement throughout the home. The design incorporates natural marble, solid wood, natural veneer, quartz, stone, mirror, and color glass, along with a carefully selected color palette of black, beige, white, and grey. The space is adorned with abstract art and statues, creating a sophisticated yet laidback ambiance.
Principal Designer Sam Leong and his team overcame creative challenges in space planning to create a spacious yet flowing layout that fulfills the client's needs. Drawing inspiration from nature, the design harmoniously combines traditional and contemporary elements, offering a sanctuary that coexists with the beauty of the surrounding environment. The project is a true reflection of the firm's dedication to delivering complete head-to-toe residential designs that are both timeless and proportioned.
