MA Office introduces "In Between," a project reinterpreting traditional porches as vibrant buffer zones, seamlessly connecting the house to the city.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MA Office presents "In Between," a groundbreaking architectural project that challenges the conventional boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. Inspired by the traditional porches of Hamadan, the design dissolves barriers, creating seamless connections between the house and the city.
The project features brick "envelopes" that form porches, extending the living area and offering panoramic views of the horizon and sky. The use of traditional materials such as brick and white marble, coupled with innovative design, fosters a sense of connection to the city.
With dimensions of 14m x 10m and a height of 11.4m, "In Between" comprises three floors, including a ground floor with connecting spaces, a duplex with dining and living rooms, and bedrooms for the family. The project was realized using traditional bricks for the envelopes and white marble for the interior space.
