Renowned designer Chi Chenping presents a five-story single-family villa, showcasing over 100 art collections from 70 artists, in a residential "curatorial exhibition of the home". Located in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China, the project began in February 2020 and was completed in October 2022.

Chi Chenping's "Elegant House" at Home Exhibition
Renowned designer Chi Chenping unveils the "Elegant House" at the Home Exhibition, a five-story single-family villa in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China. The residence features over 100 art collections from 70 artists, including Enrico Bach, Kitti Narod, Shang Yang, Mao Xuhui, Yin Chaoyang, and Yan Shilin, spanning time and space to connect with past civilizations and lifestyles.
The "Elegant House" is the result of three years of meticulous sculpting, adding interest and surprise to the spatial creation, carefully telling stories about structure, light, perception, and spirit. The villa's underground space resembles an art museum, with a white background interspersed with black geometric structures, creating a design metaphor that breaks through boundaries.
With a total residential area of 1200 square meters, the "Elegant House" prioritizes practicality and comfort, presenting the spiritual light of art. The project was awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2023 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
