Olezo Design Limited's Innovative Approach to Darker Color Palette Transforms Lexington Hill Sai Ying Pun

Owned by a young couple, the interior design scheme adopted in this sophisticated apartment has cleverly enhanced the sense of spaciousness within, far belying a diminutive floor plan that comes in at just under than 800 square feet. Having approached designer Stephen Yuen and the team from Olezo Design Limited, they expressed an interest in transforming the property to create more room, introducing a cool and contemporary style that suits their busy city life.

The owners also had a specific idea in mind when it came to the interior design scheme, opting for a darker color palette that Yuen adapted to prevent the property from feeling dowdy and crowded. As such, the rectangular living and dining area has been decorated largely in shades of grey and dark wood, adding a contemporary vibe. Space has been divided into two clear areas thanks to the placement of the furniture. As such, the lounge has been defined by an expansive plush grey sofa and rich wooden TV console, while the dining clearly starts an area where white floor-to-ceiling storage.
