Novelty Sprouts: Redefining Office Spaces

CHOU, YU- HAO's Novelty Sprouts project breathes new life into traditional office spaces, infusing them with a touch of nature and personality. The design features a polished marble floor and a silver fox stone wall in the lobby, retaining the spirit of minimalism while exuding elegance and grandeur. The addition of a half outdoor courtyard, a tasteful bar section, a lounge, and a meeting area creates a more spontaneous and diverse use of space.

The International Conference Hall takes center stage, with a see-through glass wall offering a captivating view into the expansive space. The project's unique features include roller blinds to soften natural light, lift top tables near the windows, and a tree pattern on the main wall that cleverly incorporates natural light through a combination of hollow and reflecting grey glass designs.

Embracing the theme of co-prosperity, the project emphasizes the relationship between employers and employees. The conference room is equipped with nonstationary Audio/Visual equipment and a soundproof mobile partition wall, allowing for flexible division of the space. The project's technical specifications include an interior area of approximately 628 square feet, offering a holistic perspective for work and collaboration.

The project's completion in November 2019 marked the culmination of a creative and technical endeavor that overcame significant challenges. From dismantling office partitions to rearranging facilities, the project seamlessly integrated a diverse array of textures, including stone and quartz, to create a harmonized atmosphere within the space.

CHOU, YU- HAO's Novelty Sprouts has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, celebrating its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that redefines the office space experience and contributes to quality of life improvements.
