FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wei-Ju, Wang's "The Winding Sunlight" project is a unique and innovative library space tailored for preschool children, aiming to provide an open and flexible learning environment. The space is characterized by its transparent and non-demarcated layout, featuring bright and lively mustard green and turkey blue colors. The design adopts a three-dimensional shape to enclose geometric soft decorations in multiple spatial configurations, creating an open and free field for exploration.
The design team employed a combination of arc curves, bright colors, and three-dimensional shapes to create a harmonious and engaging space that resonates with children's psychology. By utilizing wooden materials and progressive colors, the space presents a concise and gentle spatial tone, incorporating free curves and three-dimensional geometric objects throughout the area.
Throughout the project, the design team overcame creative, technical, and research challenges to ensure that the space reflected the innate cognition of children in spatial environments. The result is a fluid and harmonious space that encourages exploration and creativity, providing a comfortable and nature-inspired setting for children to learn and play.
