LI,KE CHUNG unveils a stunning residential design project, Internalized Art, blending nature and art to create an elegant and free-spirited living space in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan R.O.C.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LI,KE CHUNG's Internalized Art is a 400m2 residential marvel, showcasing the fusion of Japanese copper and Taiwan Incense Cedar wood across two floors. The design draws inspiration from the house owner's love for art collection and life experiences, aiming to offer an environment where residents can relish the elegance and freedom of life amidst nature and art.
The design's unique strength lies in its emphasis on daily creativity and the embodiment of art in everyday life. The utilization of healthy tiles in the main wall to combat humidity issues and the use of natural elements like plant dyes in the bronze cabinet exemplify the design's commitment to integrating nature into the living space.
Furthermore, the layout of the house, inspired by cruise routes, creates a circular flow, channeling natural light and offering a sense of tranquility and comfort. The design prioritizes safety, comfort, and accessibility, making it suitable for all ages.
LI,KE CHUNG's Internalized Art project commenced in May 2015 and concluded in December 2019, representing a meticulous and thoughtful process that aimed to create a space resonating with the original intentions of its inhabitants. The design overcame challenges posed by ocean humidity and salinity, leveraging modern technology to enhance air and water quality while conserving energy.
Recognizing the design's excellence, it was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, celebrating its innovative approach and contribution to enhancing the quality of life through art, science, and technology.
