mode:lina⢠presents FoodX Poznan, a restaurant project that takes patrons on a nostalgic journey back to the 90s. The vibrant space, inspired by street art and iconic 90s videos, offers a unique dining experience with a colorful and retro ambiance.
The interior, spanning 80 square meters, features a gradient of pastel colors adorning the walls and furniture. The design incorporates chameleon-type foil on external windows, drawing customers into the colorful space reminiscent of the 90s.
Utilizing glass bricks popular in the 90s, the design team created a bar and used them as finishing elements on select walls, adding a distinctive touch to the space.
Designing FoodX was a creative challenge that aimed to capture the essence of the 90s, combining street art with iconic 90s videos in a restaurant setting. The project's success hinged on creating a cohesive visual language using pastel gradients, glass bricks, and street mirrors, along with custom-designed furniture to complement the overall aesthetic.
FoodX Poznan is part of a successful franchise, with restaurants also operating in Warsaw, Krakow, and Wroclaw. The project, located in Poznan, Poland, was realized over a five-month period, offering patrons a delightful dining experience immersed in 90s nostalgia.
