HOYI Design Presents Studio Family: A Residential and Commercial Shooting Studio

HOYI Design, led by Design Director Tsai-Wei Chang, unveils Studio Family, a groundbreaking project that seamlessly integrates residential and commercial functionalities. Originally an office space, the project has been transformed into a multifunctional studio, catering to both family living and professional photography needs. The innovative design features concealed utility lines, flexible mobile furniture, and a strategic layout that maximizes space efficiency.

The rationalization of movement is a key aspect of the design, with the public and private areas carefully delineated to ensure privacy and functionality. The project, spanning 191.4 m2, is located in Taoyuan and was completed in January 2022.

Studio Family reflects a deep understanding of evolving family dynamics and the need for adaptable living spaces. By seamlessly blending residential and commercial elements, Tsai-Wei Chang has created a space that not only promotes family bonding but also serves as a professional shooting studio. The project has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, underscoring its innovative and creative design approach.
