Wanwea Yun Restaurant: A Culinary and Cultural Fusion

Jiang Min's J PLUS DESIGN WORKS introduces Wanwea Yun, a groundbreaking restaurant in Chengdu, seamlessly blending the flavors of Beijing and Sichuan cuisine. The restaurant's name, derived from "Wan Wei," symbolizes the relentless pursuit of flavor in the catering industry. Wanwea Yun offers a unique dining experience, emphasizing the customs of the East while providing comfort and quality.

The project covers 1800 square meters and features separate sofa rest, tea tasting, and dining areas, allowing customers to savor the ceremony of sitting, drinking tea, and dining. The restaurant's design incorporates wood, baking paint, electroplated metal, and Suriname black marble, creating a modern, simple, and natural ambiance.

Wanwea Yun's design reflects a fusion of Chinese natural culture, with translucent fish-shaped decorations and towering art installations, creating an artistic and immersive dining space. The project, initiated in August 2021 and completed in January 2023, perfectly interprets the cultural value concept of "harmony between nature and man, harmonious coexistence."

The restaurant's unique art installation, "Wanwea," showcases over 100 different types of food seeds turned into crystal squares, forming an aesthetic device with cultural value and artistic beauty. The design seamlessly integrates the catering culture and local customs of Beijing and Sichuan, creating a space that reflects tradition and modernity.

Jiang Min's J PLUS DESIGN WORKS has brought a refreshing force to the interior design scene, earning the Silver A' Design Award in 2023 for Wanwea Yun Restaurant, a testament to the project's outstanding expertise and innovation.
