Discover the fusion of nature and architecture with the "Miscellaneous Woods" Reception Center by YA-YUAN INTERIOR, CING JING LIN . MORI, completed in February 2023 in Taiwan.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
YA-YUAN INTERIOR, CING JING LIN . MORI introduces "Miscellaneous Woods," a reception center that reinterprets the design concepts of renowned architect Kengo Kuma, blending natural elements with urban surroundings. The project's unique approach blurs the lines between interior and exterior, creating a serene atmosphere reminiscent of a natural forest.
The reception center stands out with its innovative use of "Miscellaneous Woods," a concept that integrates natural materials, weakening, superposition, gap, and softness. The digital grille installation, formed by tree branches, serves as an artistic representation at the entrance, symbolizing the harmony between nature and architecture.
The exterior, constructed with cypress, paint, and architectural concrete, seamlessly integrates with the surrounding environment, enhancing the building's organic form and connection to the ecosystem. The spacious interior continues the minimalist approach, emphasizing the natural essence of the structure.
The project's completion was celebrated with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its innovative and creative architectural design.
