Yen Ting Cho Studio introduces the 2023 Revive Collection, featuring eight unique wool scarf patterns that are digitally printed onto natural fabric, creating asymmetrical, non-repeating designs that are distinct from traditional methods. The patterns are the result of the studio's proprietary digital software, mov.i.see, which uses body movement to reconstruct digital data and reveal organic details.
The scarves, finished by hand, boast vibrant color combinations and can be worn in various ways, offering a gender-neutral fashion accessory that is both aesthetically pleasing and desirable.
The project commenced in January 2022 in London and Tainan City, concluding in November 2022 in Tainan City. The collection made its debut at Shoppe Object in New York City in February 2023.
The studio's unique patterns are the product of a bespoke digital software program that utilizes body movement to reconstruct digital data, resulting in designs that are vibrant and optimistic. The digital printing techniques reproduce fine details while retaining special color combinations, offering a fresh take on luxury scarf patterns.
Yen Ting Cho Studio's 2023 Revive Collection was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns, and Cloth Design in 2023, recognizing the outstanding expertise and innovation demonstrated in the creation of these unique scarf patterns.
