Tai Kuan Huang's Modern Courtyard design, a residential project in HsinChu Taiwan, reimagines traditional Chinese courtyard living with innovative spatial planning and natural elements, creating a serene and functional home environment.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Modern Courtyard project by Tai Kuan Huang is a testament to innovative residential design. The 1423 sqft space was meticulously planned to integrate the concept of three entry courtyards from traditional Chinese buildings, offering a unique blend of functionality and cultural inspiration. The design features spacious living and dining areas, circular flows, and carefully considered spatial divisions, all tailored to meet the daily living needs of the inhabitants.
One of the standout features of the design is the integration of natural elements and the use of only two types of wood â white oak and walnut â to create a sense of visual lightness and warmth. The absence of a traditional standard ceiling in the living and dining areas allows for an abundance of natural light, contributing to the overall sense of spaciousness and flexibility.
The project, which commenced in March 2022 and concluded in June 2022, is a testament to Tai Kuan Huang's dedication to creating living spaces that prioritize both functionality and aesthetics. The design not only challenges traditional notions of residential living but also sets a new standard for contemporary interior design.
