FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jun Li, a senior interior designer and the design director of Chengdu Qingyu Interior Decoration Design Co., Ltd., has unveiled the captivating and unique dining space, Food Gravitas. Inspired by the literary work "Triple Gate" by Han Han, the restaurant design pays homage to the book's themes while incorporating innovative elements that set it apart from traditional dining spaces.
The 265-square-meter project, completed in Chengdu, features a fusion of indoor and outdoor furniture, creating a warm and vivid atmosphere. The space showcases a blend of fashion and art, with a focus on geometric shapes and artistic devices that bring the surroundings to life.
One of the highlights of the design is the use of snow white stone embedded with stainless steel metal textures, exuding a sense of high-quality texture. The interior is adorned with elements such as the "triple gate" setting at the entrance and three arches below the stairs, symbolizing different stages of life.
The restaurant's exterior wall, painted in sunset yellow, stands out amidst the surrounding urban landscape, creating a bright and welcoming ambiance. To maintain the vibrant colors, the designers utilized food-grade Teflon material for long-lasting protection.
Throughout the design process, Jun Li and his team overcame various creative and technical challenges, including the creation of a unique passage to the second floor, designed to evoke the experience of entering and leaving a spaceship.
Food Gravitas has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020, highlighting its exceptional innovation and technical excellence.
