Creep Design's Innovative Approach to Kindergarten Design

Creep Design introduces the Butchart Gardens Preschool, drawing inspiration from the Canadian Butchart Gardens and blending Japanese and Italian landscape elements. The design aims to create a beautiful and imaginative space for children to thrive, incorporating natural materials and innovative arc technology.

The Butchart Gardens Preschool stands out with its warm and inviting atmosphere, achieved through the use of natural solid wood, white tones, and imaginative spaces that encourage creativity and exploration.

The design team utilized specialized arc technology to shape stones and create unique metal arc molds, resulting in a space that seamlessly integrates natural elements with children's activities. Additionally, fiber cement board was employed to craft arc wall partitions, enhancing the overall design aesthetic.

The project, located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, was realized over a period from May 2019 to June 2020, with a focus on transforming the traditional educational environment into a comfortable and nature-inspired setting for children.

Creep Design's youthful energy and commitment to innovative, sustainable design practices have earned them the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2021 for their outstanding work on the Butchart Gardens Preschool.
