Award-winning designer Hsi-Che Lin completes a stunning hotel renovation project, infusing modern fashion and leisure resort style into an outlying island hotel in Taiwan.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Award-winning designer Hsi-Che Lin has completed a remarkable hotel renovation project, "Transformation," in Taiwan. The project, finished in September 2021, encompasses a total of 995 square meters of interior space, including guest rooms, corridors, a merchandise area, and a restaurant. The design team's goal was to create a stylish and modern space with a casual resort atmosphere, meeting the client's needs and reflecting the leisure resort style of the outlying islands.
The project's unique features include spotlights and titanium stripes, a hanging seascape series with stone-shaped cushions, a blue and white color palette to evoke a serene oceanic atmosphere, and an artificial green wall to introduce greenery into the basement space. The use of environmentally friendly and non-toxic materials ensures a healthy and safe dining environment.
Despite challenges such as the project's remote location and material supply shortages, the design team successfully balanced the new and old elements, creating a harmonious blend of functionality and design. The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that brings modernity and comfort to the hotel.
