"Cave" Residential House by Vader Wu

Stable Dada Interior Design proudly introduces "Cave," a residential house designed by Vader Wu. Embracing the primitive architecture of a cave, the project features extensive paint in gray shades, creating a sense of exploration and tranquility. The design incorporates modest woodworks, shoji doors, and antique furnishings to infuse warmth and simplicity into the space.

Unlike typical layouts, "Cave" is tailored to the homeowners' lifestyle, integrating flower arrangements, wine tasting, and art into the living experience. The non-conventional layout, characterized by arcs, curves, and halos, fosters a gallery-like serenity, promoting relaxation and creativity.

The 152-square meter space includes an entrance, living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, tea room, and bathrooms, offering a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics.

The design is brought to life through the use of natural teak, stainless steel titanium-plated metal, iron parts, Changhong glass, and other high-quality materials, showcasing a meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Upon opening the door, visitors are greeted with a three-dimensional circular vista, accentuated by faint light that highlights the hostess's flower arrangements, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The curved surfaces guide traffic flow, blurring boundaries and extending the visual experience. The public space features a 3-meter long table, serving as a versatile centerpiece for entertaining guests, while the neighboring couch and ripple-like circle above it enhance the sensory experience.

The project was completed in January 2023 in Tainan City, Taiwan, and was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding creativity, technical excellence, and innovative design approach.
