K.E.A. CREATIVE INC. Showcases Innovative Design in Residential Renovation

Iuan Kai Fang, of K.E.A. CREATIVE INC., has reimagined a 186-square meter second-hand duplex penthouse in Taiwan, creating a comfortable and functional living space for a family in Taipei City. The renovation project, named "Optimal Care," was completed over 18 months and has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2024.

The project involved transforming the old house into a bright and open space, featuring clean lines and a seamless connection to the outdoors. The design prioritized comfortable living spaces, with a spacious public area on the first floor and five bedrooms and four bathrooms for privacy. The main living area is highlighted by a two-story glass curtain, flooding the space with natural light and creating an open and airy atmosphere.

Unique design elements include the use of glass compartments to connect closed rooms with the public area, creating an open view and enhancing the emotional interaction and dialogue of residents. The project also incorporated sustainable and resource-conscious approaches, such as using recycled materials for decorative wall accents and cabinet handles.
