Aamer Qaisiyah Unveils BASALT House, a Fusion of Roman and Contemporary Design
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Aamer Qaisiyah's BASALT House is a stunning architectural marvel inspired by the Ancient Romans' structures in southern Syria. The house, located at an altitude of over 1100 meters amid a dense oak forest, seamlessly blends past and present architecture, incorporating basalt stone and oak wood into its design.
The BASALT House is designed to withstand unpredictable weather conditions, with its outer walls made of double concrete blocks covered in natural basalt stones. The large windows allow ample natural light while maintaining a cozy atmosphere, and the house features advanced systems for water refinement and solar energy.
The house spans a total area of 1065 m2, with a basement floor, ground floor, and first floor, offering a spacious and comfortable living space for its occupants.
One of the most unique aspects of the BASALT House is its fully equipped automation system, providing control over lighting, security, heating, and air-conditioning, ensuring a luxurious and convenient living experience for its residents.
Aamer Qaisiyah's vision for the BASALT House was realized through a meticulous design process, blending the timeless elegance of ancient Roman architecture with contemporary comfort and functionality. The project, which commenced in March 2019 and was completed in June 2019 in Kuwait, is set to begin execution in Syria in August 2020.
Despite facing challenges in merging ancient and modern design elements, Aamer Qaisiyah successfully created a space that exudes elegance, comfort, and serenity. The BASALT House is a testament to his unwavering dedication to architectural excellence and innovation.
Aamer Qaisiyah, a resilient and talented architect from Syria, has overcome numerous obstacles to establish himself as a leading figure in the architectural world. His designs, characterized by their uniqueness and exquisite craftsmanship, have garnered widespread acclaim, earning him the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2020.
