Interior designer Guel Koc-Janssen unveils the Giesinger Beerhalle, a stunning industrial-style brewery and bar, completed in September 2020 in Munich, Germany.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Interior designer Guel Koc-Janssen has unveiled the Giesinger Beerhalle, a unique industrial-style brewery and bar located in Munich, Germany. Inspired by the motto "Think Global, Drink Local," the interior design concept reflects the Giesinger brand in its true industrial essence, with raw elements that expose the brewing process. The design features a striking yellow custom-made shipping container, panoramic windows, and a network of copper pipes that abstractly resemble the brewing process and activity.
The main hall, spanning 180 square meters with a ceiling height of 4.5 meters, offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere with rough-cut, solid wood tables and beer banks. The space is designed to seat 160 people and can host corporate events, private parties, and guided tours. Additionally, the bar includes an office space and a green elevator that connects the hall to the storage area, entertaining guests with old beer moving theatrics.
The construction of the Giesinger Beerhalle was completed in September 2020, following the design work that commenced in December 2019. The design project aimed to create an industrial-style bar with a panoramic window that enables users to visually connect to the tall, double-height brewing tanks inscribed with graffiti artwork, providing a unique ambiance to appreciate Giesinger beer. The interior design brings materials directly related to the brewing process and cleverly combines them with the colors of the Giesinger Brau brand, creating a modern and spacious setting for sponsor meetings, new beer variety presentations, and impressive events.
