Homu Design Studio Unveils "Ripple" - A Family-Centric Residential Project
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Homu Design Studio, led by CHUN-WEI WANG, introduces "Ripple," a distinctive residential project that reimagines family living. The design seamlessly integrates natural materials and innovative concepts to create a harmonious living space that fosters togetherness and comfort.
The "Ripple" project, completed in September 2021 in Taiwan, encompasses a 545.4 square meter, five-story house. It features a unique open plan, large social areas, and a seamless transition between private and public spaces, emphasizing comfort and fluidity in space planning.
The project's standout feature is the incorporation of ripple-like curves, inspired by the diffusion effect of water ripples. These curves, manifested in the interior through wall designs and furniture, create a visually stunning and cohesive atmosphere, setting "Ripple" apart from traditional residential designs.
The design team's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the use of natural building materials such as marble, wood, and solid wood flooring, providing an unparalleled comfort experience. Notably, a custom-made four-meter-long solid wood table serves as the centerpiece, strengthening family bonds and emphasizing the project's family-centric ethos.
CHUN-WEI WANG's "Ripple" project has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2024, underscoring its innovative and practical approach to residential design. The project successfully bridges modern design with traditional furnishings, creating a complete and comfortable living space that resonates with families.
