Design Unveiled: Home of Art

Wang Kuo-Chun's Home of Art is a residential design project that seamlessly integrates the needs of a modern online media business with the comfort and functionality of a home. The 350 square meter property boasts a neat and proportionately balanced layout, emphasizing an interactive, flexible, and textured shared living space.

The design incorporates sophisticated background, beautiful lighting, romantic scenery, and stage-like effects, catering to the requirements of live streaming and photography. The use of color distinction, painting, variation of materials, and complex techniques shapes and integrates multiple surfaces, creating a visually stimulating environment.

The shared living area is designed with rich visual layers, distinct themes, and unique color scheme configurations, while the private living area features shaped cabinets and skin-friendly material matching techniques to meet different users' needs.

One of the notable challenges overcome in the design is the large food cabinet in the dining room, representing ancient Chinese divination texts, and the integration of the TV wall in the living room with the lower edge of the cabinet, maximizing functionality without compromising aesthetics.

Wang Kuo-Chun's Home of Art received the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authenticates experience and resourcefulness, contributing to quality of life improvements.
