Espacio Kaab: A Fusion of Japanese and Mexican Architecture

Architect Matia Di Frenna Müller introduces Espacio Kaab, a distinctive house project in Nogueras, Colima, México. The design seamlessly blends Japanese and Mexican architectural elements, creating a modern residence that harmonizes with its natural surroundings.

Espacio Kaab, spanning 4,316 S.F., is a testament to the fusion of Japanese and Mexican architectural styles. The project, initiated in January 2020 and completed in December 2021, is a result of meticulous research and personalized attention to the clients' spatial needs.

The challenging topography of the land, nestled in the midst of nature and historical buildings, presented an opportunity to create a unique character for Espacio Kaab. The house offers captivating views, interesting spaces, and an environment that seamlessly integrates with nature.

Di Frenna Arquitectos, the firm behind Espacio Kaab, was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2022 for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable design, showcasing a high level of excellence and introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
