Minsk, Belarus - Pier Maria Giordani unveils the new private jet terminal at Minsk Airport, designed to reflect the image of Belarus and cater to international elites, offering a relaxed and elegant space.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The new private jet terminal at Minsk Airport, designed by Pier Maria Giordani, is a contemporary expression of Belarusian culture and ambition. The terminal serves as a gateway for international elites, providing a last impression of Belarus before their departure and a first impression upon arrival. The project covers the reception hall, lounge, bar, meeting room, toilet, roof floor corridor, and VIP saloon, presenting a relaxed and elegant space with contemporary design language.
The design is characterized by a highly suggestive entrance hall, with a scenography that expands throughout the environment, creating an impressive result. The large main hall features a globe built with brass profiles, while the meeting room's oval table surface is made of black mirror, creating a dynamic effect. The roof floor offers a glass corridor surrounded by a beautiful landscape, leading to the VIP saloon with a large window overlooking the landing strip.
The project, which started in 2018 and was completed in 2021, was realized amidst the challenges of the pandemic in Minsk, Belarus. The 600 sqm terminal is a testament to the vision and dedication of the design team, including architect principals Pier Maria Giordani and Chen Zhen, as well as architect collaborators Francesco Quadrelli, Giulio Viglioli, Marija Milenkoska, and Andrea Longhi.
