Leafer Circular Design introduces the Leakage Awareness Workshop, a tool designed to facilitate circular business transition and resource flow visualization, launching in November 2023.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Leafer Circular Design unveils the Leakage Awareness Workshop, a consulting tool aimed at addressing the challenges of circular business transition. The workshop, developed in response to the need for visual exploration of resource flows and stakeholder consensus building, enables designers to deeply understand clients' situations and pave the way for impactful design cases.
The workshop's unique properties lie in its ability to build internal stakeholder support, gather sensitive situation information, and visualize production flows for discussion. It features a modular design for portability and integrates with the C-BAT app to generate material analysis reports.
Realized through extensive communication mapping, surveys, and iterative adjustments, the workshop is formatted into a series of modular A4 PDFs for easy printing and flexibility. It also offers a companion C-BAT app for training content and material analysis report generation.
Victor Wu and Craig Bossley are the key members of the design team behind the Leakage Awareness Workshop, which was selected for showcase by the Taiwan Design Research Institute in 2024.
The Leakage Awareness Workshop serves as a coach for the client's team discussion, mapping out production steps and identifying inefficiencies and opportunities. The project, which began in March 2023, addresses the challenges of circular design by providing a structured approach to resource information sharing and visualization.
Leafer Circular Design, based in Tainan, Taiwan, is a design and consulting firm specializing in circular economy solutions. The firm has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Meta, Strategic, and Service Design category in 2024.
