Chester WL Goh introduces Rachel House, a modern residential villa designed to promote family interaction and privacy. The villa, situated in Zhongshan City, China, features a central water courtyard, providing a tranquil environment for the family to enjoy. The clean and modern facade incorporates bedroom cubes that offer framed views of the oriental-themed landscape garden, creating a unique living experience.

The four-storey villa embraces a central water garden courtyard, aligning the lifestyle and personalities of the users with the house's design. The design balances privacy and social interaction, offering multiple perspectives to enjoy the landscape. The project, which started in 2016 and finished in January 2020, reflects the four major seasons, lending to the uniqueness of the house.

The design essence of the villa represents the client's admiration for nature and sustainability, seamlessly blending architecture, interior, and nature. The courtyard space features an aura of serenity and tranquillity, derived from techniques used extensively in southern China. The villa was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding expertise and innovation.
