Tianwen Sun's Omakase restaurant design, inspired by the love story of Sakura rain, breaks traditional ideas to create a dream-like dining space, wins Golden A' Design Award.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tianwen Sun's Omakase restaurant design, inspired by the love story of Sakura rain, has won the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2020. The design concept of Sakura and dew is creatively realized through the combination of Sakura petals and dewdrops in the glass partition, achieving a virtual-real synthesis and crystal-clear decorative effects. The restaurant, located in Shanghai, China, offers a poetic environment that captivates diners with its boundless pink Sakura and golden Tatami room, creating a feast for the senses.
The two-floor restaurant covers a building area of 140 square meters and features dynamic lighting that enhances the blooming Sakura and exquisitely carved dewdrops, immersing diners in a romantic and eye-catching dining space. The design work began in August 2018, with construction completed in January 2019. Despite the challenge of a small area, the design team overcame restrictions to create a captivating and innovative space that reflects the designer's prodigy and wisdom.
The Omakase restaurant design by Tianwen Sun showcases the designer's commitment to environmental protection through the adoption of decorative materials and provides a unique and memorable dining experience for visitors.
