Yu-Ling Hung's Transient Light is a shared space design project finished in July 2023 in Taiwan, which was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2024.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yu-Ling Hung's Transient Light is a shared space design project inspired by the concept of the 'seed', integrating natural elements to create an open and comfortable shared space. The base, with a total area of 353.7 square meters, includes a reception center, reading area, video room, and gym. The high ceilings of the base are utilized to integrate homogenous natural elements inside and outside the building, fostering a close relationship with nature.
The project is embellished with earthy tones and features curved elements to balance the atmosphere, creating an exquisite and high-quality overall effect. The use of dark tones and mirror visual effects enhances the quality of life and taste, while the laborious curved glass bookcase brings rhythm to the space, adding a practical and artistic touch.
Geometric shapes with curves are prevalent throughout the design, reflecting the philosophy of 'fragmentation' found in nature. The project is well-lit, and 'Transient Light' means being surrounded by light, emphasizing the connection to the exploration of nature.
