Revolutionizing Community Public Spaces

lu wen's Sunac Guangshen Longshan project is a groundbreaking approach to community public spaces, reflecting the evolving needs of modern society. The design, completed in May 2020, in Qingyuan, China, redefines the traditional sales center as a multifunctional space catering to the diverse requirements of the community. Inspired by continuous communication with customers, the project introduces a new operational concept for public spaces, emphasizing parallel services and community engagement.

Centered on users and communities, the design incorporates differentiated customer needs, resulting in a new generation of composite scenes. The project's innovative model for urban community operations and public spaces emphasizes the transition from scenes to reality, creating an experiential model that fosters a vibrant business town with features such as a vegetable pavilion and canteens.

Utilizing local materials such as soil, green plants, and wood, lu wen has realized a breakthrough in material combinations, transforming them into tangible and perceptible objects. The design's enclosed arrangement promotes interaction, with a walkway surrounding the display shelf, creating a new level of space and enhancing spatial interaction. The linear elements connecting the facade and spatial shape are arranged in an orderly manner, contributing to a reasonable movement around the interior.

The project's traffic line is guided by the overlapping relationship of spatial shape and volume, creating a radical and straightforward expressive force. The interweaving of line and surface gives the space a dynamic quality, interpreting delicate emotions within a peaceful ambiance.

lu wen's design has been recognized with the Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious accolade celebrates the project's remarkable creativity, outstanding design, and significant impact on the world of art, science, and technology.
