FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seike Hisashi's design for Nttdata Xam Technologies Osaka's new office and factory complex seamlessly integrates organic materials, Japanese essence, and industrial elements. The total floor area covers 3366ã¡ and involved the renovation of an existing factory. The design features a conference room with Japanese paper walls, glass partitions in the integrated office space, and a rest area with a staircase-like kitchen and stage-like living/dining room. The restroom's flow line combines with runway markings symbolizing a journey, inspiring new creations and fostering a collaborative workspace.
The design embodies the "X = combining" ethos, blending industrial and natural elements to signify the move to advanced manufacturing. The office uses glass and Japanese paper to create an open and "Japaneseness" feel, while the rest area fosters a cozy environment with a staircase kitchen and stage-like living/dining space with Japanese design.
