Chia Yu Chan introduces Ecru Restaurant, a serene dining space in Taipei, inspired by the elegance of French cuisine and the tranquility of nature. The restaurant, completed in September 2023, offers a unique dining experience that seamlessly integrates the art of cooking with the pleasure of dining, captivating guests with its organic elements and tranquil ambiance.

The 244-square meter space, featuring an open kitchen, private dining room, and an underground wine cellar, embodies the essence of French dining culture, inviting guests to savor the slow-paced lifestyle and appreciate the interrelation of food, land, and culture.

The design, awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2024, showcases exceptional expertise and innovation, setting a new standard for serene and elegant dining experiences in Taipei.

In crafting the serene environment, Chia Yu Chan utilized natural light sources and organic materials, such as stones and weathered wood, to create a warm and inviting ambiance. The use of beige walls with textured paint and irregular-shaped tableware evokes the art of French plating, further enhancing the dining experience.

The restaurant's unique features, including a front courtyard and a focus on nature and simplicity, reflect the core principles of French cuisine, offering guests an immersive journey into the heart of French dining culture.
