FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Revolutionizing Office Construction with Oak Konan Shinagawa

Kazuhiro Yasufuku's Oak Konan Shinagawa is a 12-story office building near the harbor in Shinagawa, Tokyo, designed to combat labor shortages in the Japanese construction industry. The innovative structural frame, featuring a precast concrete outer shell, not only simplifies site erection but also enhances productivity, creating a column-free office space.

The fusion of structure and finishing materials, along with the incorporation of natural ventilation window units, significantly improves buildability and sustainability, offering a unique and efficient office environment.

The project, which commenced in September 2020 and concluded in July 2022, has garnered recognition, winning the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2023 for its exceptional innovation and technical excellence.
