Andaman Resort

Regalia Group & Forte Design Partners has unveiled Andaman, a resort inspired by the Nineteen Peaks Scenic Area in Xinchang and the self-built houses with a rural style. The design integrates with the Jiangnan style and the surrounding environment to become a part of the local context.

The overall resort adopts black and white colors of Hui-style architecture to present the charm of Jiangnan ink painting. The interior space involves the public area on the first floor and the accommodation area on the second floor, achieving dynamic and static separation.

The original building, built of traditional mortar and cement before the renovation, was deliberately painted to distinguish the exterior wall from the surrounding buildings. The interior design uses microcement paint to reflect the simple texture, integrating the outdoor nature as a backdrop.

The ground building has three floors and covers an area of 376 square meters, with the interior design area spanning 1128 square meters, featuring hotel accommodation.

The resort was awarded Iron in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2024.

The project started in February 2022 in Xinchang and finished in October 2022.

Guangzhou City Construction Development Design Institute Co.,Ltd. founded in 1983 and headquartered in Guangzhou, has obtained Grade A architectural engineering design, Grade A urban and rural planning, Grade B Landscape architecture design, Grade B architectural engineering consulting and other qualifications.
