Yanfei Li's Small Apartment Design in Shanghai's Putuo District
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Yanfei Li's "Colour Temperature Shanghai" project is a testament to innovative small apartment design. The inspiration for this project came from the concept of a blank canvas, where wave patterns, geometric shapes, and lines were used to create a modern and aesthetic space. The design uniquely combines living and dining areas within the limited space, using creative elements to divide functional zones.
The project, realized between April and September 2020, utilized vibrant colors and materials to create an energetic yet relaxed atmosphere, making the space appear larger. The apartment's technical function was achieved through the integration of colors and materials, avoiding a rigid structure to divide the space.
Notably, the apartment's living room features a U-shaped curtain rail, providing the flexibility to transform the space into a guest room when needed. The design also incorporates multifunctional cabinets made of solid wood, offering practical storage solutions while maintaining a soft touch and vibrant aesthetic.
