Introducing the Nine Court Mansion, a high-end eco-residence project in Chongqing, designed to infuse Oriental tradition with modern artistic expression, enhancing residential living.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Designed by Jian'an Zhou and the INLab Design and Consultancy team, the Nine Court Mansion is a unique residential landscape project that aims to improve the quality of life for residents while reintroducing elements of traditional Chinese culture in a modern context. The project draws inspiration from the spatial structure of the Forbidden City, incorporating traditional homing etiquette and elements of Chinese traditional culture in a contemporary setting.
The project covers a total area of 11952.75 square meters, including hard pavement, green areas, and waterscapes. The design utilizes materials such as Fuding imitation black water jet Weige Brick, Gris Pinto marble, and silk printing glass, employing techniques like water cutting and traditional brackets to bring traditional Chinese aesthetics to life.
Completed in May 2019, the Nine Court Mansion is located in Chongqing and represents a significant effort to revitalize and promote traditional Chinese culture in a modern architectural context. The project was awarded the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020, recognizing its exceptional and innovative contribution to societal wellbeing.
