TELS Cargo, a prominent name in the European transportation sector, has unveiled a revitalized brand identity crafted by designer Nargiza Usmanova, now recognized with the Iron A' Design Award for 2025. The project, initiated in early 2022 and completed by the end of 2023 in Toronto, focused on evolving the company's visual language while preserving its established legacy. Usmanova's approach retained the signature TELS typography, color palette, and the iconic five-stripe pallet symbol, ensuring continuity and immediate recognition across all touchpoints.
The new identity introduces a circular element symbolizing the sun and light, reflecting the brand's dynamism and optimism. A subtle yet impactful design detail connects the letters 'G' and 'O' in "Cargo," visually reinforcing the idea of movement and progress. This transformation extended beyond the logo, encompassing truck decals, promotional materials, exhibition stands, and a suite of branded office supplies, all unified by a modern, tech-inspired aesthetic. The bold orange and gray palette further underscores the company's commitment to innovation and forward thinking.
The redesign process presented creative and technical challenges, particularly in balancing the TELS Group's historical brand values with its new strategic direction. Usmanova's team navigated these complexities by integrating research-driven insights and contemporary design trends, resulting in a cohesive system that enhances customer trust and strengthens the company's market presence. The Iron A' Design Award recognizes this achievement, celebrating the project's ability to harmonize tradition with a visionary outlook, and setting a new standard for branding in the transportation industry.

Global Vision at Nuit Blanche is a monumental eye-shaped light installation that embodies the theme of immigration from Europe and Asia to North America. The installation allows people to walk through a colorful labyrinth that sheds light on the challenges of immigration. The structure's colors constantly alter, symbolizing the changes that immigrants face in a new environment. When viewed from above, a giant eye is formed by the intersection of two semicircles which represent the East and West hemispheres on Earth. The project started in August 2022 in Toronto and finished in September 2022, and was exhibited in North York (Toronto) for one night 1-2 October 2022.
