Pohui Lin's "Serenity" has been honored with the Bronze A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2025, recognizing its outstanding achievement in residential design. The project, realized in Hsinchu, Taiwan, artfully balances the contrasting tastes of a young couple-melding the husband's desire for a cozy, warm haven with the wife's preference for refined sophistication. The result is a 118-square-meter home that gracefully accommodates a toddler and a newborn, fostering family closeness while ensuring privacy and tranquility.

The design stands out for its discreetly luxurious exterior, featuring natural marble veining as a striking entry focal point, and a meticulously crafted interior that harmonizes diverse needs. Warm solid wood, natural stucco, and low-formaldehyde green materials were carefully selected for sustainability and comfort. The versatile central hub adapts seamlessly to family activities, from work to play, while abundant natural light enhances the layered textures and muted color palette. Every detail, from seamless material transitions to energy-efficient finishes, reflects Pohui Lin's dedication to both aesthetics and well-being.

"Serenity" was shaped through in-depth research and close collaboration with the homeowners, using 3D modeling and daily routine observations to create a space that fosters connection and adaptability. The open layout encourages spontaneous family moments, while private areas provide calm for rest and growth. This award-winning design not only elevates daily living but also sets a benchmark for sustainable, heartfelt residential environments, demonstrating how thoughtful design can improve quality of life and inspire future innovation.
