Award-Winning Colgate Türkiye Office Showcases Functional, Aesthetic, and Collaborative Design in Istanbul

The Colgate Türkiye office, designed by Yasin Altıpat and completed in late 2024, has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award for 2025. Situated in Istanbul, this 950-square-meter office exemplifies a modern approach to workspace design, integrating Colgate's core values of freshness, trust, and health into every aspect of the environment. The project's innovative spatial organization supports both collaborative teamwork and individual productivity, offering a warm, energetic, and functional atmosphere for employees and visitors alike.

Altıpat's design stands out for its seamless blend of open, closed, and communal areas, all unified by a palette of corporate colors, natural materials, and abundant greenery. The elliptical form and full glass façade maximize natural daylight while mitigating solar heat, creating a bright and comfortable setting with extraordinary sea views. Social zones and meeting rooms are strategically placed to take advantage of these vistas, while relaxation corners and multipurpose rest areas foster well-being and creativity. The biophilic design approach integrates living plants and natural textures, promoting tranquility and a strong connection to nature within the urban office environment.

A key challenge addressed in the project was balancing the mechanical infrastructure with the unique demands of a high-rise, glass-fronted building. Altıpat's team tailored the cooling systems to accommodate varying sunlight exposure, ensuring optimal comfort throughout the workspace. The result is a flexible, sustainable, and inclusive office that not only enhances productivity but also elevates the overall experience of working at Colgate Türkiye. This award-winning project sets a new benchmark for corporate interiors in Turkey and demonstrates the transformative potential of thoughtful, research-driven design.
